The bought some original 59 steps to replace mine. However, they are longer than what was on my truck. Were there different sized steps made for the 58-59 models of Apaches?

My originals on the truck were 32 1/2″ at the longest run and 25″ at the shortest run were it angle up.
Purchased originals were 36 1/2″ and 30 3/8″ respectively.

Any help is appreciated.

Solid cab, no rust that I’ve found yet. Claimed to have original chassis but front end looks newer and frame and suspension has been modified a bit. I am lost in what I should do. I don’t know what front end it is or if it’s originally a 4×4. Or if it’s the original frame. Need some guidense to get me started. I am 25 years old and need some help haha

Want to convert to power door locks. But, the lock is the type you push forward on the handle forcing relay arm back. Not the button type. The door lock mechanism locks only by a simple key tumbler in the button. I dont care about price. I just want power door locks. Already purchased 15lb actuator set. Help!

GM Canada and US admit they were made as GMC, they cannot provide any additional information.
Do any of your readers have any knowledge or info.
Thanks in advance.
